The Tunic is orginally related to Roman civilization, it is the most common clothing wear under toga (like a long Sari) by male community. Tunic is also indicate the wearer's status in Roman socity by the presence of stripes and ornamentation work on this Tunic. In Western culture, it is used as religious uniform but from last few years when Indian short length “Kameez” or “Kurtis” got popularity in western socity so sometime it is also known as Indian Tunic or Indian Kurtis.
